Catan expansion, different play mode for basic version.

I think it would be great to have catan expansions here. Personally, I enjoy seafarers and cities&knights versions. Thanks!
p.s. also I think it will be great to have alternate play mode in basic catan where the second building is built as a city instead of a settlement(same rule as cities& knightsversion setup).. This is to have alternative choice to shorten the time needed to complete basic game.
