Board Game Arena

I was playing this live game of wingspan and I was going to win it easily--only three moves left, way ahead on the board and big points with my bonus cards. Suddenly we could not play. We tried various things but all we could do was chat. I came back later and I was treated as losing the game and quiting the game. I took both a karma hit and an elo hit. This is not right. I don't anyone to fix this, although they should, but when a game breaks, the one thing that shouldn't happen is the blame the person who was about to win the game.

If I should have raised this in some other way, I apologize but I couldn't figure out what that other way was.

In cases like this,
- repeatedly reload the page (hit F5 on keyboard)
- propose to change the game to a turn-based game (top-right menu)

The system has no way of knowing who is winning. The person who first times out, for whatever reason, is potentially kicked.
