When you visit BGA there is a section that lists the top most wanted games. What is its purpose?

Find more games in order to create in BGA.
But usually these games are so popular, that companies do not give the "OK" to develop

My most desired game is on the list, but only has 24 votes.

Shouldn't those games be removed from list? I mean games which won't be developed because of companies. This would made a list of games which really can be developed on BGA - not just "wish list".
