Tournaments across different games
Posted: 24 October 2023, 03:37
I've been running private tourneys across multiple games.
Usually 4-6 people.
Like in Golf, lowest score. But nobody gets worse than a "4" if they do badly.
Score is simply your ordinal position. As points.
Ex. Playing Kingdomino and Can't stop. With 6 players the scores are likely to be 123444 (so that the players don't lose the tourney on a six player game).
Rules are called Golfimbul. Usually 16 or more games of varying difficulty and length.
Any way to bring this into the BGA fiefdom? We've been playing this in BGA, new tourney about every 10 weeks.
4 player or 5 player games for a group of 6 means that games that won't fit six need two tables.
I put in enough tables that everyone is on two tables of something.
example of an eight player set.
