What happens when tournament game time runs out?

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, I did a search but didn't find anything.

I'm in a tournament where the time per game is 15 days - 3-player games, 5 days per player.

In the game I'm currently in, one player is already 3 days over their allotted time, we are on day 11, so I'm beginning to wonder what happens when we hit 15 days without having finished? Can anyone explain, please?

(I'm not keen on kicking anyone out, but I'm wondering if we all get a penalty when the game times out, in which case I think their moves should be skipped.)

The game will be stop at the end of 15 days, and player will be sort by remaining time, slower player will be the last but with no penalties.

You don't get a penalty. Rankings are awarded based on time remaining for each player - whoever has the most left wins, etc. Normal elimination (whatever that is for the tournament) applies.

Bear in mind, if you boot, rankings are awarded based on seniority of your BGA account - that is, whoever has the oldest account wins, etc.

No exit penalty, but they do get a time penalty.

Ah, ok - thanks, everyone, that is good to know! :)
No worries then about waiting if this one player plays or not. :D
