More and more websites allow people to connect through one's favorite social network ID. Looks like a trend, but more to the point, it's definitely practical as it makes one less login and password to remember. You just need to connect once to your social network, and after that every time you browse to a website that you have linked to this social network, you are automatically connected straight away. And that, for WWW addicts using a lot of different websites, it's a kindness!

As we like to make your life easier, we took our small programmer paws, we dived into the documentation - more or less well written - for two of the more renowned social networks, and now you can do the same on BGA. Next time you come to the login page, you'll see the same two buttons as illustrated by the image in this article, and you will be able to click on your favorite to link it to your BGA account.

And of course, it's also a pretty nice opportunity to tell your friends that BGA rocks, and that it's extra easy to register since you only need a Facebook or Google account!

They say that there is 1.1 billion users on Facebook worldwide and 135 millions more on Google+. Your mission, if you accept it: bring 10% to play on BGA. Well, that's just 10%: looks pretty reasonable, hey?

This is a nice touch, especially since you don't limit yourself to Facebook, as most do.

My question, though: For those who have already registered, is there a way to link their BGA account with their Facebook or Google account, so that stats are kept? If so, I haven't found it.

Or is that still on your to-do list?

It's been taken care of
After you click on the FB or Google button and authorize the BGA app, you'll get the choice to either create an account, or enter the login/password for a current account to link it to your social ID.
