Suggestion: Variants for choice of amelioration cards (simultaneous...)

First thing: I know that this would require the blessing of the publisher...
I don't really like the modes of getting the amelioration cards:
As a side note, I don't know if it is possible but it would be nice, after a while, to have some stats on the cards: which cards are the least/most chosen (in choice mode) and which cards are the least/most associated with victory.
For choice we could improve things the following ways:
I don't really like the modes of getting the amelioration cards:
- I don't really like random because some of the amelioration cards are really worse than others
- I don't really like the choice options because:
- I think it gives an advantage to the last players on the grid
- It takes quite some time to setup in turn based mode

For choice we could improve things the following ways:
- Simple draft: Just make a "normal draft" where everyone has a starting hand (of 4, 5 or 6 cards) and you stop once everyone has 3 cards. Just be aware than in a 6 players games with only the basic ameliorations, the starting hands are limited to 5 cards (because there are only 34 basic amelioration cards).
- Make a more complex custom draft system for this game. You might give a starting hand to only 3 of the players: In a 6 player game it could be player 2-4-6. Maybe you treat all games like 6 players and discard a random card 'would be legends'. Or for 5 players, you could players with a hand at the start could be 2-4-5 or 1-3-5. And you give the cards you didn't choose to the player placed just before you on the starting grid. There are tons of variations to this.
- Give 4 (or 5) cards to everyone, everyone pick one. Discard the rest, reshuffle, start again.
- Give 5 (or 6 if possible) cards to everyone, everyone chooses 3 out of them and discards the rest.
