maybe i messed up my developer signup but i'm confused about my studio profile. Is studio profile supposed to be totally separate than regular profile?

I've been a member and played tons of games for a long time, but just created the studio developer profile a week ago with different email, and it has no activity under it. No activity makes sense, but as a result, I can't send message to other coder who is working on a project that I would like to collaborate or chat about, because I haven't played 2 games yet. Am I supposed to play 2 games under my studio profile separately, for some reason???

Another oddity is that both regular and studio profiles show me as premium member, even though I only paid under the regular one.

Both profiles are completely separate. No history is shared between the two.

Regarding premium, all studio accounts are premium even thought you didn't pay for it.

I strongly suggest to contact the dev using is regular profile instead of studio profile
