PIPELINE: Participation reception for closed-alpha testing

Post by tsuzumik »

Hello, everyone.
I am starting closed-alpha tests for PIPELINE.
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/256730/pipeline
Playing Pipeline, you’re going to feel the rush of seed money, the thrill of turning a profit, the rollercoaster of handling each new round at greater and greater speeds. In fact, this could be the year’s single best economic board game.

2023/11/27 first recruitment open

I am accepting applications for a private group. Please express your interest on this board to join us. The initial recruitment will close after approximately 30 people have joined. If I find that we can support more participants, I will open up recruitment again.

Participation Conditions:
  • Patience is required.
      • The current UI/UX is not user-friendly.
      • There are limited descriptions for game rules and the alpha tests.
      • I am the sole developer now, and development will pause during my vacation.
    • The only reward is the opportunity to play PIPELINE on BGA.
    • Civility and respect are mandatory.
      • Let’s enjoy the playtesting process together.
I am also seeking someone to assist with communication, support for newcomers, adding photos, rule texts, and tutorials for the alpha test.

Thank you in advance. Have fun!

One more constraints... I'm Japanese and wrote this with machine translation.
Participants should be able to communicate in English. It is OK if you require translation delay.
    Thank you.

Hello, I'd like to be part of this test. Have played and owned the game in person before.

    Thanks,

I can join from EU (GMT+02). I've played the game a dozen or so times and have been a reviewer for quite a while now. Would probably be willing to run 2-3 turn-based games constantly to get bugs squashed.

I own pipeline although I have not played it in a while. Would be very happy to test. I usually play with my wife and my sister who lives nearby so easy to communicate with each other and triangulate bugs.

    Thank you for applying!
I tried to invite, but now the server is unstable.
I could add some persons, but all. I will try later.

And I noticed, some text may be required (how to create table, and so on).
I'll have it ready on the weekend. You can start to play if you don't worried.
