Option to Hide Victory Point Counter in Game Setup

I had wondered if there could be an option to hide or turn off the live broadcast of everyone's Victory Points (VPs) in some games during setup.
In many games like 7 Wonders, Tapestry, Wingspan etc, there is often a 'live count' of all player's VP scores, allowing you to make strategic decisions when faced with the figures. However we often find we play very differently, with very different outcomes, when done in-person with physical copies, and in large part this is due to not having all this meta-data available to us so conveniently, which in my opinion was never meant to be a consideration when the games were being tested and balanced - as in they did not expect players to keep an accurate tally of ALL player's VPS in their head when considering their next move.
Now VPs aren't private information, in fact players can still see all publicly available information (like all the cards played in 7 Wonders), but they'd just have to work it out for themselves like you would in a real game. Or just turn live VP count back on, I just want it to be an option to hide when setting up a game to return a bit more to strategic thinking into some games, than just a numbers game.
