what has been played?

I understand memory is a big part of tricks games but when you play turn by turn, its is really hard to know what has already been played.
I think the game would be funnier if we have something similar to The Crew.

I'm hoping for a setting to disable the played card history log. Being able to scroll back and have perfect information about every card played goes against the spirit of trick takers AND the rules for the game IMO.
From the rules:
If you take the trick, take all the cards played this trick. If you took
any Boss Yokai cards, keep them face-up in front of you. Flip the
other cards you took face-down. Keep face-down cards you took this
trick separate from cards you took in other tricks; that way, anyone
can easily count how many tricks you have taken this round.
The fact that cards are put face-down is so that you don't have the ability to review previously played cards aside from the boss yokai

In almost all board/card games, logs cannot exist in real time after all.
Yet almost all games on BGA keep the game log history.
Also, this was already rejected in Hearts as doing so cannot prevent players from checking previous moves or recording game history via replay, and this screws turn-based games obviously.

So some don't? Why can't this one?

Yes, people can find ways around getting the information if the log was disabled obviously. The fact that people
can cheat at something, doesn't mean the information should then just be handed to them on a silver platter because someone
might cheat. If the log was a setting that could be enabled/disabled real time players could disable it and turn based could enable it should they so choose. Options are nice.

Because that means developers don't do it unless they must do so due to the publisher request.
It just doesn't work well as you think.
