Badge/Achievement system seems to be broken

I don't think new badges are awarded right now, I haven't gotten one for Banzai achievement that I should and I've seen other players asking the same things in discords.

This is possibly related to the changes in the ELO system announced here:
ELO System Updates
It had unintended effects throughout the BGA ecosystem, including affecting achievements for solo games, etc.

So.. what can we do? I got 20 wins in a row and I want that achievement!
Will BGA award them still of what?
