why was I reported????

I am a donating player with a good reputation. Today I am having connection issues. The player I was playing against seemed to take longer than needed for certain no-brainer plays in Jaipur. I assumed I needed to refresh since I didn't want to keep the other player waiting if that was the issue. I did this several times in the game. At the end of the game, the player asked why i hit F5 so many times. I explained with the above reason. The player said they were a netwatcher and that they were going to have to report me. I am very surprised by this, so I asked what is the problem with hitting F5? They said: "it course quick out for the other player". That makes no sense to me. I asked for further explanation which I think is fair since I don't understand what I did wrong and none was given. Can someone please explain what I did wrong? Also, is it me or did that seem a bit unfair since I wasn't even given the courtesy of a fair explanation?

What is a "netwatcher?"

Have you seen any confirmation that you were indeed reported in some way?

If not, consider that you have been whooshed.

good question and thanks for your response to my post. So far, the only negative "consequence" is that the player gave me a thumbs down. I suspect that it has more to do with the fact that I won the game that the F5 issue raised  Anyways, it appears that I gave the threat too much credance, again thanks!

F5 won't affect your opponent... It's just when you (think you) have connection problem...
