Both TTR USA as Europe has set arena for 2 players, why not for the full table: 5 players?

I like the two player best, I think the solution would be two types of arenas. A two player and one with more.
But to answer your question, I think its harder to fill a complete game than to have just two player. Easier to get to a table and play..

Agreed would love to see a "dual" arena and then a multiplayer arena for all games. That way both sets of players are happy

Now that TTRAamerica and TTREurope both exist, they could set one to 2 player and one to four player, and then alternate which is which each month. Then people who want to play multiplayer can be accommodated without being a problem for people who want two players.

idk, imho Europe is a much better 4p game than USA and 2p is the opposite

We definitely need to have four players in Arena mode, TTR is not a good 2 player game.

I think Europe is best for a 2 player game with the gameplay that have full use pf the bottlenecks so I think that everyone has its preference. For me in TTR Europe is the best 2p MAP but this is just my humble subjective opinion

Because Ticket To Ride is best at 2 players. Especially for an arena format. No need for nonsense politics. No need to have opponents making stupid mistakes but still costing you because it happens to hurt you and them, while incidentally benefitting other players. Best to have 2 players, where you can directly interfere with your opponent if they have better cards than you, thus reducing the luck advantage. Where their mistakes will only get in their way. Where there is no need to worry about kingmaking, teams or any other rubbish. It's just 1 opponent and you.

My sentiments exactly. I thought there should be dual seasons prior to Europe. Now having two ttr both set to 2p arena while denying 1000s of 4p players an arena doesn’t seem right. There was a quarter million games played this season for ttr. More than enough to support dual arenas.
