I am not sure about the way Puerto Rico tournaments are working.
It is fine if you have 3 equal players. Usually the scores are quite close and it is a good match.
The problem is the system pairs elite players with silver or bronze players, and then one of the elite players is usually
victim to random plays by the bronze (crafting into a big trade for the other player, or just not knowing end game conditions).
I think the way it should work is you only lose points when you lose a game to equal rank players (all three equal rank)
The lower player can gain points in the matches but the higher players don't gain points if the match has lower ranks (but they don't lose points either)
