Variation Ma Wan Draft

Hi all,
We are a small group of Agricola players living in Ma Wan, Hong Kong, who introduced a variation called the Ma Wan draft. The aim is to prevent overpowering cards by removing them in the first draft.
Ma Wan Draft 1.0: Distribute eight occupation/minor improvement cards to each player. After each person discards a card, they pass the remaining cards to the next person. Afterwards, everyone draws a card and passes it to the next person, until each player has seven cards.
Ma Wan Draft 2.0: Distribute eight occupation/minor improvement cards to each player. After each person discards a card, they pass the remaining cards to the next person. Then, shuffle and pass three cards to the next person. Everyone draws a card and passes it to the next person, until each player has seven cards.
