How do you find games waiting for players?

I'm pretty new here, sorry if I missed the instructions for this, but generally I'm happy to try out most games, but I don't know how to find games that people are waiting to play. Is there a way to do that?

One way to do it is to click the "Play Now" link at the top of the page, set the left option to "Simple Game," middle to "Real Time," and right to "Manual."

Then below every game you will either see "Play Now" meaning no one is waiting on that game, or "# [table icon] available" meaning that # of tables are waiting for players. [if you have customized the lobby to display small icons, you will only see "# [table icon]," but if you've done that then you would already know where this screen is] Click that button to see what the settings are for those tables. Don't do like many people do and just join the table without looking at the settings (especially the "Game Speed" setting).

There are probably other ways to do it, but that works.

Or you can go in the game list, and the ones outlined in blue are the ones waiting for players :)

I somehow get notifications for this one game I used to play but don’t play anymore. I can’t remember how I set up these notifications to be able to do it for another.

I just looked at that. It's good to know it's there, but from that first screen you can't tell how many tables are waiting, only that at least one exists. If you click on it, then you're in the single-game lobby and can only see that game's pending tables.

This is very helpful to know! I'm new here - and knowing which games have a better chance of getting people to play with, will be helpful!

Games say how often they've been played and the game count will even show recent finished games, etc. So you can often tell how active a game is in general. The bell option for getting notified when a game is hosted is nice too.
