WAs playing a ranked game. Another player bid under and forced me to take the value 1 card. If this player bid correctly they would have increased the card they received by 3. I just quit the game immediately after this nonsense.

You quit this game immediately after I bid $5 which you were unable to outbid.

I'm not sure why you regarded that as underbidding or incorrect...I did it because if Magneto bid $6 I had $8 I could outbid him if I needed to, but if he just passed as I assumed he would I'd saved myself $1

You were destined to end up with the value 1 card and me the value 30 card whatever I bid.

I don't think it was nonsense at all, and I still feel it was a reasonable play.
