The brown action for the Mississippi Kite lets you cache rodent tokens on that card. I currently have three but see no option to use them. Am I misunderstanding the card? I’m not sure what the point of those cached rodent tokens are if I can’t use them when paying food. Or is this a bug?

Thanks!

In the base game, cached food can't be used and basically functions as a scoring track. In at least one expansion (not implemented on BGA), there are birds whose cached food can be used as a personal bank to pay costs of other birds.
