Board Game Arena

In last March, BGA launched a new game lobby with a lot of innovations like "suggest to join a game" and "games you wanna play now". The main idea of this new lobby was to give you tools to find opponents easier and faster.

Today, we introduced some little changes in this lobby. Why? Because we found that even most of you appreciate the new system, it was not so easy to add/remove games from your favorite games list. To fix this, we add some new stuff to make this list more fluid:
* "Play" icon: create a game in one click.
* "Remove" icon: remove a game from your favorites in one click.
* Intelligent drop-down "Add to My Games" to add a game to your favorites.
* When you receive a suggestion and don't want to play this game, you can remove the game from your favorites in just one click.

It seems a change you didn't list is that the games I want to play are no longer displayed as graphics, but just as a kind of drop-down list. Is this an option that can be changed by the user, or is this the new way it will be for everyone?

I didn´t like it:

- takes a larger area on the top of the screen
- the dropdown list displays even if I don´t want (if I mouse over by accident, it would be better if it displayed only when I click on the list)
- there is no scroll bar on the right of the list. That means that if you don´t have a scroll wheel in the mouse you can´t scroll down on the list.
- I like the games displayed as graphics).

Is there an option to choose the old version ???

Really, I prefer the old version

You had to be pretty stupid to not understand how it worked the old version, and I liked the pictures of each game .

I would have preferred the old version too

I think old version looked better - especially when you have about 25 games, and you just want to play something, the list is too long and it looks awful.

Maybe it should be displayed in three columns with "suggested games" bar above or under list?

And user should choose if he/she wants pictures of games displayed.

Thanks for your feedback.

Just to let you know: in the older version there was no visible "play" button and no visible "remove" button. Consequently a very important part of you (~45%) was disturbed and did not use the system correctly.

The giant panel "Add/remove games" with all game boxes was not so great too: it was not really easy to find a game in the middle of it, especially because names was very small.

The idea was to make these options more clear.

it was a nice addition which made the site easier to use but I want from you to add answer at the suggestions fro example : Sorry i won't play or Yes i will maybe play or just a tick or cross . I also want to ask when will we have the ability to create tournanments which also need updates because a lot of players just join but not play and they don't lose elo or something like that
