Looking to clarify a few rules. Actually, figured out 2 of them

Hey there. I'm relatively new to the game and just want to check on a few things.

1) if you put your token on the "gain environmental" on the take wine to market section. You get that bonus AFTER you fill the order, right? So, if the card has a penalty for sustainability, that penalty is assessed and THEN you get your bonus? It may not seem like a. big deal, but it is if you're all the way at the top. You get the bonus after you fulfill the card, so if you're at the top and you lose 1 or 2 eco points, you get 1 back.

2) in terms of end game vineyard holding bonus, the tiebreaker of having the most potential grapes only comes in if more than one player is tied with 2 or more cards, right? Multiple players having 1 card doesn't matter and neither gets a bonus, right? I mean, besides the 5 pts they get for having at least 1 in each region. I realize the way I wrote this implies that I have an opinion on how it should be, but I honestly just don't know. It considers two people with 1 card each tied for the most, so then it comes down to whose card has the most grapes on it

3) and this is the one that truly confuses me. Say nobody plays a token in "speak first" section of go to market. Who goes first there? Is it always the player in 1st position of the order? What if that person has a worker placed before that section and the other person doesn't? It is possible as they could have 2 on market and one on make wine, or one on each, market, make wine, claim first in the order. If that's the case and player in 1st position gets first crack at the destination cards, they would get to take consecutive moves if they had one token earlier in the order of actions. Still don't know this one

Hello @ detlefchef11

Happy new year to you and sorry for the delay to answer.

1/ Yes, that's right, bonuses for action boxes are counted when you take your worker back... i.e. after you've resolved the action in question.

2/ Regarding vineyard card majorities, the player with the most cards in the region in question gets the 4 majority prestige points. If 2 or more players have the same number of cards in the region, the player with the most cubes in the region wins the points. If the tie persists, then 4 points are shared between the tied players.

3/ I'm not sure I understand your question. Action #5 (Markets) is always resolved in the order of the cellar master council (except for the "speak first" box).

IF no one is on the "speak first" square, then the player who is highest on the council of cellar masters chooses his 1st market, then it's the next player's turn, if there are several on the market. The next player then resolves his or her 1st market, and then speaking continues in the order of the council. Players who can resolve 2 markets because their square authorizes them to do so only resolve the 2nd market when all players present at the market have resolved their 1st market.

I hope I've been able to help you
