i wish that we could see where the opponent's pieces were when the game ends

I think conserve the information hidden is better for avoid the adaptation of your opponent if you replay against him. The game is based on the adaptation and supposition. If you see the last position of all pieces you have lot of information.

Well...you can see it anyway so it's good to see all at the end.

Fully agree with this. If the information does not remain hidden in replays it should just open in "view final situation"
