If I lose a challenge or I win without solving the puzzle, I like to take the ID and continue the game in Solo mode to see if I can solve it/fix my mistake. What happened to this option?

I think your need is to solve a question, not to create a table. Game table should be in game purpose.
You may do a problem search in https://turingmachine.info/ instead.
