Is there a way to stop getting replies to a post you commented on? Responded to a thread on one of the arena changes and don't care to keep getting notices others have replied to the post.

It would be nice, but unfortunately you'll have to make a site suggestion and try to get votes for it.

Right now, commenting on a popular post means you will have notifications forever.

Ok thanks, that makes me want to never reply to something. I'll see if an existing feature request exists.

I have a very similar problem because of the very highly-voted, 3-year-old suggestion to hide player status ingame (https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=29258). Otherwise trying to look at the game log is just:

TripleLSupreme is now offline
TripleLSupreme is now online
TripleLSupreme is now offline
TripleLSupreme is now online
TripleLSupreme is now offline
TripleLSupreme is now online


As you mention, it makes me not want to have BGA friends.

That is a bad example because I am always online

I think this will work: at the bottom of the thread click on the wrench icon, and check or uncheck "Subscribe topic" as shown here:

That's only referring to forum posts. TripleLSupreme and I are talking about any community posts, e.g. a news post in a game group.
