There is a definite bug in the forums lately. My guess is that it's linked with the recent server outages. So may well clear up on it's own.

But if you make a new post, like you quote a reply, write your response. Then hit submit. It does this weird thing where your quote remains but whatever you typed has vanished. You hit submit again not noticing, and now you have a strange post with not much in it.

I say this because it's just happened to me. And then someone replied to me, and it happened to them too.

It has been happening to me as well. For at least a week, possibly much longer.

Ed.: I will take note whether it only happens on desktop, because it didn't happen just now posting from mobile.

Yeah, it doesn't happen all the time.

When you hit that submit button, something strange happens.

It has happened to me also. I think it's when I’m too long to write my post.
