Pride and Prejudice bugged?

In 2-player game 461463823, my opponent dogma and returned it, I got to share, and it seemed to repeat the effect as long as the melded card's color was not the highest number of cards of any color. It activated many many times across several colors, finally stopping when I drew and melded a red card -- my most populous stack. At least I believe that's what happened.
