How should I report something that has been translated incorectly?

Can someone please help me understand what's the best way to help fix game text that has been translated incorrectly? Is there a different system for this vs. game (mechanics) bugs?
I noticed a minor typo in Planet Unknown, so I reported it as a bug in the category "Suggestion: in my opinion, the following would greatly improve the game implementation." The game implementor replied, "That's not a bug, that's a mistake in translation, you can correct it directly i think." But I'm not sure how to do that. There's a separate bug category, "Missing translation: some text is displayed in English instead of in my language." But I'm not sure whether re-reporting the bug in that category is the right thing to do - it doesn't seem to be an issue with which language is displayed, it just seems to be a typo in the English translation.
What should I do to report this and help improve the game? Thanks!
