History Mode and Extension(s) ?

Out of curiosity, what is the status for those things ?

Did the publisher give a license for those, did they refuse, do they want to wait before deciding ?
And is there any dev that would be willing to implement those things if we do get the license ?

For those who don't know, the small Armada extension has been implemented but this is an extension that is included in newer editions of the game.

We currently miss:
* the history mode
* the uprising extension (new cards, new scenarios including cooperative ones, double layer player board with some modifications, ...)
* a bunch of mini extensions / promo cards: Eldorado, founding spirit, own monument, flying dutchman

Maybe, if we don't get any of those in full, we could still get the slightly modified player board that comes with the extension ?

----------------------------------
About the History mode:

In short, this is essentially a campaign with some cards that get revealed at the start and when quests are accomplished. Those cards can place new L tiles on the board to modify the game a little (as do the tiles for normal and hard mode). And you can continue the campaign from game to game.

Note that same games have implemented a (limited) legacy system on BGA.

But the rules also explicitly allow the players to play a specific chapter of the history mode meaning that we could play specific scenarios out of the history mode even if the legacy is not implemented.

------------------------

And, of course, lots of thanks to Kayvon & Mogri for implementing the game and to the publisher for granting a license.

I'm going to make a couple assumptions in responding, so please let me know if I'm misunderstanding.
1) I'm guessing "History Mode" is what you're calling Story Mode? Because the rules make no mention of "history" mode.
2) Also guessing that "extension" means expansion, a reference to Maracaibo: The Uprising.

At present, I have no plans to implement either of those. Our focus is on the base game, which just entered beta several days ago.

Yeah it's "mode histoire" in the French version but Histoire means booth History and Story...

I'm extremely sad that we will not get a story mode. I loved it in the original game. It made the game unique.

Are you interested in implementing the story mode yourself? If so, reach out to me and we can figure out if it's possible to make it happen. (Or did I misunderstand and you are sad that I'm not doing it for you?)
