Hi, I enjoyed watching the replay of your game. Both links are fine, though it's nice to see the summary: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=473497495. If you want to add new games, it's OK to edit your post if I haven't updated the scores (leave your original post in). If I've updated the scores, it's better to make a new post.

First time I do this challenge :-)
Thank you for trying the challenge, and doing the higher level at your first attempt. I hope you enjoyed it.

condekind wrote: 03 February 2024, 18:35 Even though I set the "ask for conversions after action" option to always, I'm not being prompted for it after the action. E.g., started the turn with power 0/1/2, converted 1pw->1c, up tech lv2 to lv3 (+3pw) ... <expected another prompt> but the turn ended immediately and the automa played.
Hi. This has now been implemented. I played a game with that option and it worked OK.

Switched things up, better result, not really sure why. I didn't ever even build my PI, which seems wrong for the Terrans but apparently it's not the end-all...

AC on turn 2, moved up science twice before shifting to GP and Nav. Felt coin-starved most of the game. Only 24pts in tech (maxed GP and Nav.)

It's a good score. Re coin starved: I feel opening Academy with Terrans need steps up economy (or a lot of charge) to make up for the lost benefits of the resources generated by the PI.

CanBeSarcastic 194 - Ultoma 164: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=478597145
RL + 4m opening. Academy second round. Got Adv Tech on top of Nav in the 4th.
Upgraded to second academy on existing fed.. ran out of power for a third fed. Too spaced out. I had way more than enough power for third fed. Should have planned better to break 200.

200+ is definitely on, given also you were very short of credits. No PI or 2 tokens round booster make it more difficult to connect widespread planets. Thank you for posting an Ultoma game.

Ok wanted to try something new from the high scores of 3vp/m on top of nav.
Tried for a TF route with the adv. tech on top of income "1vp/planet type" then go for level 5 TF.
This didn't beat my other score but was a fun way to play. I made some misplays not getting Nav 2 which caused me to burn some qic for distance unfortunately. But this def had some potential.
Game notes: If i would have gotten a couple 2qic actions it would have been huge (wasnt fast enough for any of them)

CanBeSarcastic 181 - Automa 138: https://boardgamearena.com/3/gaiaprojec ... =480522646#

1. RL + 2m (Income2 / TF1)
2. Academy, fed. (Income3.)
3. RL (Income4) Adv Tech (1vp/planet types when passing)-had four types.
4. Dug 4 times - passed 6 types.
5. Academy (Right) to get tech tile Know>PT. (Nav2, TF4, GF3+4). - Passed 7 types.
6. RL - 3vp/gf... got out 4 gaias. Level 5 TF. 2 more feds.

My first attempt at the solo month challenge thanks for organizing. Well I suppose my second since I lost my first game.

Jaydash 144vs. Automa 135

Tried to focus on science and skipped the planetary institute all together. Messed up a couple of order things that cost me dearly in the end but happy with my score! See ya next month.

It's always nice to see players trying different things. Yes, if you can catch qic actions then that can make a big difference to a score. And as I always say, fun is good :D .
