Confirmation to reach last level of tech tracks early

For some of the tech tracks, reaching the last tech level means you lose the production and get a lump sum. Happens for the two right-most tracks for resources and knowledge.
My suggestion is that if you click to upgrade to these 5th tech levels before the last round of the game, you get a warning (a reminder) and need to press confirm.
I know there is a "Rememeber .." message when you mouse over... I learned about it after doing the mistake. I feel like a confirmation would be very helpful for less experimented players or those that didn't play the game in a little while.
This really screwed my game when I did it on round 4.
