I think the penalty concept is bogus. BGA claims there hands are clean when their "saintly" game is loaded - the problem has to be us. Well, if the game does not load properly, a player can not function and a time penalty is completely unavoidable. But don't confuse BGA with the facts, you are zapped with a karma penalty. SMH

If you're talking about the site wide issues last few days, the karma penalties should be waived. If yours has not in a few days, I'd contact support. They've responded quickly to me about such an inquiry in the past.
