It would be nice to chose a range of the number of players you are open to on a game e.g. 2-3.

This feature was removed a few years ago.
I think it was to make it easier to create tables, especially for newcomers with the new lobby.

You can still do that, right? As long as they leave the Play Now button, you can make a table for 4 players, but eventually start with only 3 by manually clicking start.

Actually it was removed years before the new lobby was introduced. I think they were trying to simplify the interface of the normal lobby ("play now") at that point. A few other changes were made back then (i.e. restriction to elo-ranges).

Yes please, we want player range back.
