maximum number of invitations per day to alpha games

What is the maximum number of invitations oere day one alpha reviewer can issue to non-alpha reviewer friends to alpha games?
I thought it was 5, but the site seems to be inconsistent about how it counts invitations to a cancelled game. (I have currently only managed to half fill one game I want to try out, with 3 players, but am being told I have reached my daily maximum, perhaps because I cancelled the first attempt at setting the game up, because I wanted to alter something?)
