I hope I can do justice describing that I'm looking for. I'd like to have a game where all players contribute a set number of cards to a common pool of cards. The game could be played only from that pool or possibly each player also retains another set number of cards to use along with ones they get from the pools.
For such a game I'd like the cards to all be common and available to anyone without an advantage for people who can afford to buy rare or unique cards.
What I'm going for is a game where each player knows what works with the cards they contributed but aren't sure what other cards other players added to the pool.
If this is too vague please ask some questions. This is just something I've thought about but not enough to really put together a complete concept.
