I want a solo mode.

This game is very good and interesting for studying history, but there are two problems.

One is that this game requires a lot of playing to get good at it. However, there is only a limited amount of time when there are multiple players in the game.

Second, the difference in level between players is stressful for both sides.
In cooperative mode, needless to say, even individual games are not enjoyable if there is too much difference in level.

A solo mode would solve both of these problems :!:

This game does not have a solo mode rule, and BGA does not allow house rules unless approved by the publisher.
You can try hotseat mode if needed.

Ancient russian print of Timeline Classic board game came with CD containing digital solo variant of the game. The goal was to construct longest timeline possible before making 5 errors. Here is gameplay footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8GpbKbn26I
