Abusing the alpha reviewer system

Post by Aeneas90 »

Thought I'd check on this behavior (by a user called "alltaken"):
Dude was bragging how he gamed the reviewer system.

"It requires x amount of games played and x amount of different games played. I got into every single player I could get my grubby hands and conceded them all, it counts as game played. Taxing process but it's easy. I already had some 15ish games and the amount of games played, so I only needed to have the variety of games. It took about 45 minutes achieve this and now I can create alpha games whenever I want and invite up to 5 times a day. That to me was absolutely worth it."

This seems kind of untoward, but is it really harmful? I'm new to alpha reviewing, so I'm genuinely asking, not trying to excuse the behavior.

Just playing tons of solo-only games and/or co-op games and then playing some other games a bit will do.
Conceding multiplayer games is totally unnecessary.
