The last two times I played Challenger, someone ran out of time and quit after round 7 so it didn’t count as a full win for the remaining players. Round 8 is supposed to be for just the last two players so it makes sense that one of the non-winning players would leave as soon as they found they wouldn’t be in the last round. But I think the game is set up so that it waits for the losers of the 7th round to click on something before the winners can play their final round. Please change this! The losers don’t want to stick around after losing and the final champions don’t want to have to kick someone out of the game or have them run out of time and be kicked out automatically. It’s no fun getting to the very end of the game and then having it suddenly not count as a full win! Please fix this. Thanks!

The losers can freely leave the game. They just need to click the button to "auto eliminate themselves" so the game count them as eliminated and don't care about them anymore.

Challengers dev here. Indeed, any non-finalist can just click the button to remove themselves from the game without penalty.

Anyone using the menu quit button is ignoring the warning it gives, and taking a reputation penalty.
