I have approx 310 ELO and played a head to head against a player with 330 ELO and I won I received +4 ELO points

The match before that I won against a player with 110 ELO and I received +5 ELO points

My question is shouldn't I be receiving more ELO points by defeating a player with a higher ELO ?

Any suggestions

I just played the same player again and won and this time I received 0 ELO points and he lost -11 pts ,

Our ELO are both similar to each other both at 300+
