Board Game Arena

are there any plans or is if there interest for a 2player arena games instead of or along with 4 player?

There is a little too much downtime personally for me in 4 player games (and I think more luck involved)
would rather play 1v1 ranked/arena

curious if anyone else also would prefer this

Definately makes sense considering there is something to do for everyone with every turn.
You could make the auto selects default or mandatory to speed things along but that still probably wouldn't be enough when your games are across different time zones.
A faster 2 player only arena would be good. But... The game is fun with more peoples turns to play off. Maybe make the turn based arena 2 player only.

Sounds terribly boring, 3 seems to be the sweet spot IMO.

3 or 4 players for me.

Play a lot, become a guru, suggest your preferred game format, get more votes than other suggested options -> you got your 2 player arena.
To become a "Guru" for a specific game you have be one of the top 100 (not sure about the exact number but it is somewhere in the FAQ's) most active players for that game.
Good luck to become a Guru (I am not), there are a lot of Spacebase players.....
