Placement of banner after someone quits a game: change it?

I had someone run out of time/quit a game of Carcassonne recently, and I had a problem with how the banner informing me about this was positioned. As you can see in the embedded image below, the banner goes above the playing area but not above the player information cards or play history logs. The problem is that the Carcassonne play area takes up a lot of space sometimes, and the banner is fairly big. I can scroll the window down so the banner is no longer visible and I can see more of the board, but if I do this, I am also scrolling my player information card, so I can no longer see what tiles/meeples etc. I have available if I do this.
My proposed solutions would be to either a) make the banner go across the entire width of the screen including above the player cards and play history, so if I scroll down to not see the banner I can still see all relevant game information, b) make it collapsible so it can take up less room on command, or c) make the banner smaller in some way so it at least takes up less room.
Is this worth posting to the official suggestions system so people can vote on it?
