Aristotle, did ot give me science points

With Aristotle as my active leader I picked Swordsmen. Should not this give me 1 science point? I did not get one. Did I do something wrong, or is this a bug?

you picked up Aristotele but you DID NOT play the card. So you don't have any ACTIVE leader
