Ruling Question

If I use a flipped buid action to place a building over a money for sponosors action and use that placement bonus to play engineer, can I use the engineer ability on the current use of the build action?

Per an official ruling, yes, you can, but it should only apply to any buildings built AFTER you play Engineer.
