Board Game Arena

So all my tournament games just timed out. I don't think I was playing too slow and I had no idea we were approaching the deadline. I'm assuming the same happened to lots of other people too. Future 19x19 tournaments need longer if they're being played correspondence.

yes indeed, unplayable like this. Also it should not be a game of forcing the opponent through the time by being the last to make a move before bedtime.
Just regular 1day per move is an acceptable time control for instance.

I was just dropped out of 4 tournament games because they ran past the game time limit. The Go tournament game time limits are WAY too short. I won't be taking part in any more BGA Go tournaments until this is fixed.

TBH I think the tournament time settings are all silly on BGA, with the exception of the shortest games with the longest possible time settings. Silly for the way that I am living my life that is. If it's fine for others, that's fine with me. But I won't enter any tournaments (with the excptions mentions) even though I'd be totally interested in tournaments.
