Can someone explain to me the point of this new headquarters stack? Why? Just why? It feels like lately the implementation has just gotten worse and non of the actual bugs are being fixed. Also now I can't use the synthetic option for my action cards anymore. What's going on? I really wish they wouldn't have hurried to live so far, when it's clearly not ready yet.

+1 yes it's unnecessary, taking up valuable screen space and the synthetic setting still not working for me. It doesn't remember the setting for me for future games and not able to set actions in synthetic form is horrendous. It's the best thing in the synthetic setting.

I just read another thread about people noticing Prelude assets starting to appear. I wonder if this change to a "headquarters" stack is in preparation for that...maybe your corporation card and your played prelude cards will appear together in that section?
I agree that it is clumsy now...though the previous way the corporation card was displayed also wasn't perfect and often hard to read.

The corp card is an important part of the tableau and expansion corps may have tokens and actions.
If you don’t like it then you can change the configuration from grid to hidden.
I’m not understanding the talk about synthetic stuff. What’s that?

It's how the stacks are set up. Also this function isn't working for the headquarters either. And the whole point of these stacks was to makes it possible to view the board and your cards at the same time, this changes makes that pretty past impossible again and it clutters up the view.
The problem with hiding is, as you annoyingly keep suggesting, is that then you don't have an overview of your corporation any more at all. Which isn't that big of a deal for experienced players, but many players won't know the names of each corporation and what they do. So this little overview, where it now just says the name of the corporation was way better, and it could also be used theoretically to hold resources. Even with preludes being implemented I really don't see the need or point in this. I think there are better ways. I hope it will be changed back. and I'm really frustrated this game was allowed to go live while this wasn't sorted yet.

prelude cards can go to automatic/green stack, while corps actions can go to action stack, rollback previous corp display, get ride of the headquarter headache. So fresh so clean clean.

Yes, Headquarters include corporation and 2 preludes, so that is why they made this change. But Idk, can anyone now see the option to start the game with Preludes in Aplha mode, or only users who had also TM available in Aplha mode (I have TM since Alpha, so I am not able to recognize this)? Because then I understand that it makes no sense to most of the people, what is that Headquarters part.
