Many adcanced players in offline and online playing with start draft. Its much more balance. There will be no situations when 1 player gets good cards for start and other - end game cards or just bad cards. With draft all players will choose normal cards and there will be no sersl disbalance. 1 button - and it will be another game

Very unlikely to happen. BGA tends to only support officially approved variants and not "house rules", mostly due to the fact that any such variant can end up in Arena.

Unlikely or not, it is an absolutely must. The game is near unplayable without and I would never enter a tournament without drafting anyway. I always give a challenge to anyone that is against drafting that we can play a game. I start with 10 Earth Catapults and they start with 10 Underground Detonations

This is a house rule and not intended. If the publisher does not approve, it cannot be added.

How does drafting start cards work with Prelude?

Prelude in itself doesn't affect the start draft, but it's also possible (and highly advisable) to draft the preludes. We start by getting four corporations, four preludes and ten project cards. We first draft preludes to the right, then project cards to the left (then alternate drafting right on even generations and left on odd generations). Then we choose what to play and keep, and discard the rest.
After that we all get a (global) Merger prelude, with four new corporations, choose one of them, and then start the game

Exactly my point. And not only mine ofc. Its literally 2 different games: with draft and without it.

Maybe you are right. Technically its homerule. But its not a tipical homerule. Its a logic step that follows from rules of this game. I think author just troll players when did not prescribe start draft

I think we need to take this matter directly to the designer!

This is an example rule of drafting starting project and prelude cards that a tournament used:

Personally I feel that without drafting starting cards, often someone is dealt with a bad corp with bad project cards, and they have to sit around for the whole game without any hope of winning.
