Player with 1 ELO?

I'm currently in a Faraway tournament that specifies "Average players and above". My current opponent has a 1 ELO rating. That person is also not listed in the participants list (yet there are also two other players in that list with ELO under 100). How does that happen? It sucks to lose to someone with a 1 ELO as you take quite a hit on your own.

Tournament Organizer can invite people with less than 100 ELO.

And your opponent is in the tournament participation list (https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=285013)

Yep, as noted by the previous poster. If you look at the players who were invited but didn't accept, many of them have no ELO for Faraway at all (suggesting they've never played), and are also friends of the organiser (so I'm guessing the organiser just invited their whole friends list).

OK, thanks. And yes, I see them now. I had scrolled to the bottom of the list thinking they would be down there.
