Temple points need a rework.

Temple points should be awarded differently. Ties should relegate next award's position. 2p ties should relegate next award by one position and 3p ties should do it by two. It would give a much greater incentive not to skip Temple. It's a bit ridiculous that with a single koku donation someone can get the 2nd place worth 7 points behind tied players. What's your opinion?

The skipping temple thing is mostly an issue in non-Crossroads games since that expansion turns the space into hot commodity. Also, everyone skipping temples allows you to tactically enter it to set up the positioning on your next turn. Donating one coin at a time is more sensible with this strategy. People don't tend to donate three coins at once unless it's the last temple on the last day of the adventure since, like you said yourself, temple is getting skipped anyway so you'd have ample oppurtunity to get a donation in later. There are also characters that start poor or situations where you turn out poor (souvenirs) that makes dumping three coins at once a hard feat. Chipping it one coin at a time lets your contest the 10 or 7 points rewards with as little money spent as possible using whatever free turns you have entering an ignored temple. However, yeah. I agree that non-Crossroads temples are really dull.
