Hi,

No idea if this is the right forum - but basically, I am unable to play replays on BGA. I thought it was a premium-only feature, but I've been told that's not the case.

So, at some point (years ago), I've probably been banned from playing replays. I have no idea why.

How do I go about getting this restriction removed?

Are you sure you're banned specifically? What happens when you try?

A message saying:

"Replaying games is currently disabled for your account. Please note that scraping content represents an unwarranted resource cost for any website, and is explicitly forbidden in our Terms of Service."

I've never scraped replays or otherwise from BGA, and as I said, I thought this was just a general message for all non-premium accounts. But it now seems that premium has nothing to do with it, in which case all I can think of is somehow, I've been banned specifically. This would have happened years ago, but I've never scraped replays from BGA at all. (What would be the point?)

So, it would be good to verify if:
1. I've been banned specifically.
2. If so, can this be lifted. (I have no idea why it happened in the first place.)

It can be lifted, so you may want to appeal. Dunno what you can expect though.

Another user did have the same restriction lifted recently, so I would assume that you can too.
