winning but still losing

as second turn I got to 16 points. first turn is done at 6 points. third player named winter66 has 8 points no coins and leaves the game at 100% complete like a salty loser and first place kicks him for out of time and then it gibes me only 2 points for the clear win 14 to first turn for a low elo "win" and -26 to the leaver
how does this make sense to neutralize the game with me 16 points and the other at 6 when I have already won

I was extremely frustrated by a similar situation

3 player game and a player quit the turn I was getting to 15 points. So the game ended as a draw on the last round when I was going to win.
