Board Game Arena

I missed an Arena game that popped. I had another tab open, and didn't realize the game had started. By the time I noticed it, I had missed my turn and the players voted to kick me out. No problem, it happens; I should pay more attention.

What I don't understand is that sometimes when I join an Arena game it will sit on the screen where it is waiting for other players to confirm the game and they never do. Somehow, these players aren't missing games like I am. How can I do that? Or what is the reasoning for this?

When that happens it's a glitch. Arena games are automatically accepted, even if the Accept button appears momentarily.
